Somalia is one of the poorest countries in the world, says Wikipedia, when I googled it a little while ago. The pictures of malnourished kids I saw made me feel sick when I thought about the food I wasted a week ago.
Every life is valuable. Every kid deserves a chance to see what's in store for them in life, not, be hungry, and...
:'(
I don't have a credit card. But if you're reading this, think of how you can spend a minute of your time and 50 cents of your money to change the lives of a mother and her kid, who deserve it. Nobody doesn't.
Thankfully, the process of donations isn't that tough. The World Food Program website has an easy process to give a small amount of money to those who need it more than you do.
Peter calls Neal right after he - well. Breaks into Peter's house and cracks a safe open, to get a view of the manifesto they needed to see in order to sell things to - what?
Run away. One last score. After EVERYTHING. Every thing micro-examined and gushed about and SCREAMED Peter and him have been through.
But in his shoes? Maybe, just maybe, I would have run myself with that much of art just lying there.
So he looks at this.
:'( I cry so easily these days. Especially since the background music in this scene seemed to be a fusion of all the main scenes in the series. IDK, IJS.
He shakes it away and takes a picture when his phone rings. It's Peter. So Peter calls. I expected El to come back in. And Mozzie to go paranoooid.
But *shushes self* it never wlda been the same. This was freaking - heartfelt. Peter's breaking and tired and hesitant voice, and Neal's reactions - me izz long gone to heart therapy.
I think you deserve some happiness...
I'm here for you...
It was like Vital Signs, the Peter version.
<3 ^ the biggest numberEVER.
Hehe. You know, I would have loved for the episode to end as Neal calling Peter and saying something. Like, as close to a confession as he can get, being completely indirect and not lying at the same time.
But it's not my show(I really wish it was(I wish the characters were MINE! *evil laughter*)), and the show must have cliffhangers like dees, so I'm cool. I liked this one. *yay*
NEVER thought I’d enjoy it THIS much! I was rolling on the bed LAUGHING!! No, SERIOUSLY!
Nathan, is, the funniest guy ever. EVER.
Stana wasn’t there, but it was still ROCKING! And I never knew Molly was so awesome! She turned up dressed like Nathan in Firefly! OMG! *stillflailing* *refusingtocomebacktoearth*
First of all – thank you, hosnbros, or I never would have seen this self-lifting event from the other side of the world.
A few points I tweeted earlier. Actually, most of them were exclamatory marks, but I can hopefully decipher them.
There was also a sneak peek for the beginning of Season 4. Shows Kate being driven to the hospital, and Lanie trying to save her. Castle runs with the stretcher behind them, since it was mechanical and all. On the whole, it made me stagger a bit.
I was screaming at my screen for more. I needed more, right then!
Tamala said that the season premier was going to be *dropsded* more epic than the last season's finale. Yeah, you heard me. Uh huh.
"The whole outcome is really going to be more epic than the season finale,"
*izzded* *writestherestasazombie*
And *surprised* I didn't know Jon Huertas really did serve years in the US Air force! Wow. That's just wow.
Seamus says they weren't acting when they were saying goodbye to the Captain, they were really going to miss Ruben. "Ruben was fantastic, and we miss him terribly. When we found out, it was very shocking."
Molly stood up to show off her dress. Nathan says he had a gun just like that one, and it went missing. :D
When the 'Triple Killer' is mentioned, Molly says, "Oh, that guy you guys let get away?" Seamus: I think we're going to see a crime committed, and Kevin Ryan's gun being used."
Seamus is married to the woman who plays Jenny! Isn't that cute and just AMAZING?
I. Want. Graphic. Novel. CANNOT. Wait. Until.
Alexis might not be happy about Castle and Beckett together. So won't the replacement of the Captain, it seems. Sigh.
:D There might be fights bween Castle and Esposito as to who's to be the best man at Kevin's wedding. *leansback* I just want Beckett to catch the bouquet. Or since these guys just don't get it, maybe Castle and Beckett cld catch it together.
In Ep3.04, the neck brace Espo used actually hurt. :D
Q from the mod. What breakfast item does Castle cook one morning. They actually cldn't remember! SMORELETTES!!!!!
Alexis: I'm the adult on this set.
The man who plays Castle's rival, Victor Webster, is (seemingly) a full head taller than Nathan, which I don't know. :| But there was a fun acting out on how Jon blocks Castle and Victor from fake fighting or something[?] I do remember the "Whatwhatwhatwhatwhat" :D Hee!
Then there was so much laughing. I don't remember what happened, but I'll find out and write it in.

Season 4 might bring up Castle's DAD! We're going to have a fuun season, I guess! YAY!
The cast is asked who they'd want as Castle's Dad. I remember clearly that Nathan immediately said "Chris Walken" at the last Comic Con, but this year, Tamala said that. Molly said it would be a nice twist it was Susan who did it. :D :D :D :D :D
Nathan? He said it would William Katt. :D Look him up if you don't know who that is.
Nathan asks if he was like his character, and the rest of the cast looks around doubtfully. Molly peeks in and asks, "Oh, he's asking if he's funny in real life?" She mock-laughs. "Haha, that's so funny." *hugsher* You're amazing!
Nathan says that they don't really do everything right off the script. "We make something great, and then we present it."
Molly: We're wired at all times.
In 3.07, there's a chinese line.
Nathan said the last line himself! *squee* He also mentions that he thought of whistling XMen in that ep. :D
Nathan says that when he takes off his hat, people wld look at him and say, "That hair - it's Nathan Fillion." He showed how he could shake it like it was a wig. "It's a blessing. And a curse."
Awww... they talk about a poss. replacement for Stana.... Nathan: Guys. Too soon. (pauses) But very funny.
It actually was. :D
Nathan: Typically, if you're on a TV show with me, the thing you have to look forward to is cancellation." Noooo, that's not true! :D
Nathan: Everyone has a bit of Indiana Jones in them... Molly, yours is more on the outside.
Someone asks Seamus a question, something like, how he wants his character backstory to be? Well, :D, he starts answering it in a looong way, and Nathan starts sinking back in his seat, and sinking, and sinking, until he disappears, and everyone's laughing, and then he pops up far to the right next to Molly! ROFL!!!! THEY HUG!!!!! CUTEST THING ON EARTH, WITH THE LOOK ON NATHAN'S FACE!!!! AWWWW!!!!
A kutti kid stands up and asks if they've played pranks on set. This Q is always asked.
Seamus says about a prank with zipties, and he figured out it was Jon. :D
Nathan: Never touch a man's car. Never. Touch. A man's. Car. Or Spaceship.
ROFL!
T'was so much FUN!!!
Can't wait for Castle to start airing already! Sheesh!
I’m very happy about Suits. I’m happy about all its characters, Louis, Donna, Trevor, everyone. It brings up so many plot possibilities in my head – oh, this could happen, or maybe it could be like this – which I’m very happy about. :) I’m not complaining about the legal mistakes, either, like I said before.
I liked the driver!!! He seems so smart and nice and cool!!! I don't care about how I sound right now!!!
And the doll history was very true . My parents used to tell me the same thing – how dolls are no longer as valuable and showcase-able as they used to be.
Otherwise,
Harvey. CARES. So, so much. He cares about so many people. :D And he's so capable! It's almost inspiring. :)
Mike is cute. He's learning, and fast, but this Trevor guy really is an anchor. The idiot framed him, and Mike fell for it, and the worst part? He still hasn't found out.
Small disappointing thing(s) I wanted to point out in the episode(3.07), something after I watched it again.
Why is Neal so sloppy? Especially with Sara in his house? Why isn't Mozzie bothering to lower his voice when Sara's in the next room, if he's so insistent on running?
And kdcldkndfnvdfjvoec why is Sara opening his laptop and checking it out? Isn't that rude to do when you're actually in someone else's house?
*scratchscratch* See, I'm trying to like her. =P Maybe someone can point out something so I start liking WC without forcing myself to, solely because of the frequent presence of just one person.
Neal's a nice guy when it comes to people, and it was sort of sweet that he feels the way he felt with Kate when he's with her and all, but that's him - he does stuff like that, not thinking about the consequences and all. I feel like Sara's character is getting all over the place. She seemed dominant over herself and a workaholic in the very beginning but where is she now?
*spreadshandsopen* I'm willing to hear any opinions. I really want to like her.
But maybe one thing I’m not liking is the way I’m forcing myself to like Sara Ellis. And *sneer* to all the people out there, I’m a Peter Burke fan, like a crazy one, so there’s something wrong here, and it’s not the crazy assumption of ‘u izz jealous of her!’ and stuff like that – I’d be hating on Elizabeth if I was jealous of anyone in this cast, but I’m not even able to act like I am, since she’s so wonderful. Neal can have whoever he wants. Maybe Sara reminds me of someone perky in my class. Personal issues. Feel free to judge me. :D
PETER KNOWS WHAT HE’S UP TO, I know it. I KNOW IT. He’s too friggin smart not to, and the way he talks and looks at him I KNOW EEEEEET.
So Sara found out. Hmm.
(Thanks for the gif!)
Is it okay if I say the cliff hangers are resolved too quickly in White Collar, even though they’ve said something about not immediately coming to a conclusion? I feel like the two season 1 breaks were played out perfectly, and Hard Sell and Withdrawal are among my fav TV episodes ever (EVER).
But after Point Blank, we never got to see 1) Peter confronting Neal about how he forged a case file. I felt it made Peter look dumb for a while there. So I had problems with that episode. 2) After such a long hiatus, Mozzie recovered pretty fast. :D Not that I’m complaining, but after the cliff hanger was him falling on the park bench, wasn’t it too fast?
Now the passport. Felt he resolved it too quickly by the lie. Oh well.
*sigh* But how much ever I try, I can't stop smiling when Peter and Mozzie are in a scene together. EEEE!!! :D
Peter lets out a breath. I grin. He put his arms in front of him and leans on the table. Mozzie's across from him.
"Tell me who he is, and I will hear him out."
Mozzie: How should I know who he is?
Peter: *facepalm*
I have a fic rec. These are cute and very innovative! I'm impressed!
Board games - vesperwhisper. :D :D :D Come on - if the FBI and the conmen all play games together... !!! Worth checking out!
Whatever happened to being a little subtle? Well, I've never disagreed more to an article. And I feel horrendously, horribly awful that this was the SECOND search option when I googled 'Suits usa'. :(
We're supposed to believe Harvey would endanger his career because he thinks he can use Mike's abilities to advance his clients' interests and because he sees something of himself in Mike. (What you may see is the vague outlines ofWhite Collar, a far superior USA series.)
But the idea never takes hold because there's nothing in Macht's Harvey that convinces you he would risk so much just to serve as a mentor, or anything in Adams' Mike to make you think he's worth the risk.
As far as I saw(and as dumb as I may be) Harvey was tired of the Harvard geeky guys, and wanted a change, which I find perfectly believable to lie for, considering he's a lawyer and considering his character. And though I hate (hate) to admit it, White Collar does have a ton of flaws here and there, which of course I forget about because of Tim and Matt and Willie and all the other cast, and because YOU CAN'T BE ACCURATE IN THESE TYPE OF SHOWS. What, do ppl want to see the long dragging trials, and a typical FBI case?
And I really enjoy Harvey, and Mike's adorable.
People think Suits is like White Collar. Same network. Two guys are the main cast. So?
Neal and Peter have a formal relationship. They get under each other's skin, they care about each other, but I'd still say they respect each other. Harvey and Mike are 100 90% informal, and their language is nothing like WC.
Even though you think you’re safe in your house, the weird, insecure, sick feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you find out a major city in your country is being bombed right 'now' is dklanscklncjsd;kncklnas.
On November 11th, 2008, more than 10 bombing and shooting attacks were coordinated across Mumbai by Islamic terrorists. The locations include The Taj Mahal Palace, a five-star luxury hotel next to the Gateway of India; the Oberoi Trident, another pair of luxury hotels, and the Cama hospital, a major hospital for women and children.
That day, my senior, who was in twelfth grade, and I, in tenth, were listening to the news over the radio in the hostel. They were attacking live, bombing and shooting. In Mumbai. We were in Chennai.
Worse?
I called my parents because I was feeling torn up. My Dad seemed a little broken himself, and it was believable with the type of emotional guy he is, and the way the death toll was rising with nothing to stop them.
When I asked him if that was why he was feeling bad, he told me that they were in Mumbai. And the phone, as if on queue, got cut.
They were safe. But the amount of shock I went through cannot be expressed. The distance, the pressing uncertainty that you think they're just lying so you won't feel sad, and a million of other feelings put together - it'll make you nauseous.
Today I saw in the news that three bomb blasts occurred in Mumbai again, and the Union Home Ministry says it's another terrorist attack. Makes one sick.
Death toll is rising. I wonder when the world will become a safe place to live in. *shakes head*
As if I already didn’t love Peter Burke. This episode made me DIZZY. *sways* SO much of guh-ness.
And for the record, Sara Ellis has officially grown on me. Yeah. Guess I just can’t hate a person my whole life. She’s good for Neal, and she makes him happy; maybe she’ll even become a reason for him to stay, so I guess I don’t really mind her anymore.
This definitely was a nice episode, thanks to Jim Campolongo, the writer. Very entertaining. Very awesome.
I mean, Peter TANGOED.
I can’t even. *heartfluttersdamnit*
I was horribly spoiled for this one, so when I started, I assured myself that I’m not going to like it that much.
But I was thankfully wrong! To me, this filled the void I felt when Sara was around – some weird, weird feeling I felt during almost every single episode after 2.05. Something I couldn’t place my finger on. I remember the day I saw that promo featuring Neal and Sara in the archives of Ellis island. I even remember being pissed off a lot, because I kept thinking, come on, even you? in the middle of classes. (yeah. Chemistry classes.)
Well, for one thing, I could compare myself to Madchen Amick’s character in the one aspect that she liked honesty and the truth more than the fake charms some people brought just to impress people. I’m not a very honest person myself in some issues, but I do look for that in a person. So if I was her, I definitely would have done the same thing. And that’s what Peter always was, right? Lovable for his awkwardness and special ability to impress.
El was amazing to assure him that his chances for winning weren’t slim. She was amazing to say that she would marry him as many times as he asked. They’re perfect together. And every time that lady turned her back, I could see her eyes drill holes into her.
He was amazing in that scene with Selena, where the bachelors had to go to every table. As embarrassing as it is for me to admit it, I was horribly moved that there was actually a character who could say that he liked being caught off guard at a place like that.
"Most of these women are only interested in small talk, so..."
She: Well, what are you interested in?"
He: *surprised for a while* Being caught off guard. Having a conversation that goes beyond the 'what you do' and 'where are you from'.
Something in her eyes go all <3. Doesn't even seem like an act. To me - not cliche. Because that was what Peter would want. Something smart and not just usual, simple flirt-talk.
And he didn’t even want her to pick him. He assumed she would pick Neal or Jones.
<3ed the whole surveillance Neal-Diana 'decent meal' thing.
With the electric candle! Hee!
People on twitter said this was a very Peter/Elizabeth/Neal episode? I couldn’t see anything of that sort. I’m not a fan of the ‘OT3’ thing many, many people seem to love.
Mozzie! It was so ‘Mozzie’ to barge in without even noticing those two, and then to be the wedding-whatever(not familiar to Christian weddings) for Peter and Elizabeth. And the money! Aw... *remembers that awesome day Tim tweeted*
I want to see Peter's marriage. The first one. :) Including the bachelor party. Man, the women were crazy! :D
Snapshots of the second marriage:
Me: *intears*
Whatever was missing in my head in the WC dept was filled up by this episode. :) It was nice to not bring up the whole, 'ooh-he's-the-look' thing between the two(although I don't mind that a bit, this is so nice of a change), and have an episode without the back story to distract us. <3. Definitely.
So.
Guh. It's that time I hate. ONE WHOLE WEEK for the next episode.
